I absolutely love hearing from you guys! Since I've had so much fun with your pictures I decided to start sharing them with everyone! Because the photos come to me in different formats, some don't have as much detail as others, but the love still comes through. These are just a few of the many. Keep 'em coming!

Renie's little dog went from keeping goats off the porch to becoming an "apartment pooch." Looks to me like she's still a happy pup!

Here is Mary Powell's Anatolian Clifford!

See! The sharing is paying off! I've gotten several notes about Diane Iverson's diapered goat!
This is from Kelli in Louisiana:
Okay, I have just GOT to know about the diaper on the goat. I raised a bottle-fed Nigerian Dwarf goat in the house from about 7days old, and didn't really have trouble with poop until he was a little older. I often thought about, and even tried, a diaper solution myself, but could never get it to fit. WHAT SIZE DIAPER, and style, brand did they use that WORKED? I can't believe they could get it to fit! The shape of goat hips make it not so easy as I thought it would be. I need to know for the next time I have to raise something that is too small for the pasture (he could literally walk straight through field fence) and unsafe to leave alone outside (he would've been a snack for a hawk). And was that a male goat they were fitting? This factor matters a lot.

Here is Diane's reply:
LOL....I started her out in Pampers.....not Newborns, next size up. I switched to Huggies later because they were cheaper. By the time she was 4 months old, she was in Toddlers size 3 (if I remember right).
I never cut a tail hole, she just sort of folded her tail flat to left/right......and it worked. Diapers also come for girls (more padding in the center) or Boy (more padding in the front). I bought the Girl ones. Even for a whether, I would buy Girls, because you put them on backwards. That is, the front of the diaper goes on their back, and the back of the diaper is what's underneath the tummy. They fit much better that way.
Wait....one of the reason I switched to Huggies was because they were one of the brands that not only was cheaper.......they also had elastic on the legs.......without the elastic, her berries would roll out on the floor, and the dog would hoover them up like raisins.
Hubby found that gaggingly disgusting......LOL......I found his reaction hysterical.
So....
1. Buy for girls.
2. Elastic legs (I think they all have elastic now, I was doing this in 1999)
3. Backwards.
4. You might need a *breast collar*.....easily made from a piece of elastic and a couple little alligator clips.
Look closely!

Yes, these are diapers on a goat! Thank you Diane Iverson! That was precious!
