Believe it or not, this dog is working.

She sits in her chair and surveys her little kingdom.  Not much goes on in the pasture that she doesn't know about. I am alerted every time a chicken walks near the sheep, or a robin lands near the water trough.  It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

This dog is also working.

Someone got the short end of the stick.

They are both perfectly who they are and are doing their jobs as perfectly as they can. Diverse individuals...neither could do the other's job. Sure sounds like all your dogs (even your new mutton bustin' PD pup) are wonderful. So sorry for the loss of Jamaica. How is Kona?

Yes, they are both perfect for their jobs! Kona is doing well. He is still in renal failure, but is holding his own and happy. If you didn't see the blood work, you would never realize it.

Ahhh. Sweet pictures. Briar is a good find. Nice. Of course my heart is still out in the mud with Lily!
