It's the little things in life that make it just so much more pleasant - perks like electricity and air conditioning immediately come to mind.  (Particularly if you live in Texas during the summer.)

I'm sure the dogs and House Cat appreciate it too.  (Thank you, Lord!)  Other Half is at K9 training again and thus hasn't been able to share in our joy.

Speaking of little things . . .

The breeder sent new pictures of Trace.  Little Dude is not missing any meals!  He is a major chunky monkey!

Does this little Beast look familiar?

It's a Lily-Gator!

She used to be a chunky monkey ball of fuzz too! She was all fur and teeth!  Now she is my most spoiled top ranch hand.

BUT . . . (warning!  Blackmail photo!)

I am not the only one who spoiled Lily  . . .

I give you State's Evidence 1:

Note the pillows stuffed between the bed and the night stand so little people don't fall off the bed. Shhheeesh what a lucky pooch!

"so little people won't fall off the bed"---just about killed me with cuteness. I'm thinking this pic won't be any use against Other Half for blackmail pictures. What will Lily think of Trace when he comes home? Especially if Trace gets 'mistreated' in the same way she was.

Hahahaha! Oh trust me, Lily's spot is secure! She probably won't like him at first but as he gets old enough to play with her, he will probably become her favorite "toy." The goal is not to allow Trace on the bed. Bed rules are: Cowboy is allowed on the bed with OH. Ranger is allowed on the bed with me. Lily is allowed on the bed with both of us! Trace will have to earn a spot on the bed. (we'll see how long that lasts!)

How big is your bed??! When we brought home our 2nd dog as a pup, the older dog cut her nose off to spite her face--she quit sleeping with us as punishment. Now there's only one dog and one cat in bed with us.

Queen size! It fits two people and two border collies!
