This is not an uncommon sight around here.

It appears that the Big White Dog can take all manner of abuse

 and really enjoys the company of a certain little chocolate monster.

 

It goes without saying that the little monster enjoys the company of his couch/punching bag/guardian. Perhaps he should talk to George the Chicken.

Those big white fluffy dogs seem to enjoy little creatures.... my neighbor's Pyr is usually found sleeping under a stack of cats.

Yes, and since the move to the other property has confined the sheep close to the house, she doesn't have as much to do regarding "predator control." She has happily adapted to her modified farm dog role and lives closer with us and the pack.
